My Top 5 self care gift ideas just in time for Christmas
Whether you are Christmas shopping or looking to treat yourself I've compiled a list of my Top 5 self care gift ideas to lift your holiday spirits.
1. Find Your Calm Charm Bracelet
Okay, okay ... so a little shameless self promotion with No. 1. Gift a beautiful and unique piece of jewellery that is a daily self care reminder. I wear mine everyday and love to scroll through the charms and pick my self care option for the day. There is no other self care bracelet like ours!
2. Candles
Candles are a great self care gift idea (for Chat10Looks3 podcast listeners, Leigh Sales is wrong!), they look good and smell great, and can really lift your mood. There are lots of delicious Christmas scents. If you want to shop local (for those in the Canberra region) my friend Lisa at Peli&Co (www.peliandco.com.au) has a wide range of handmade and hand-poured candles. One of my favourites is nectarine and mint.
3. Cushions
Cushions are cuddly and luxurious, and really help de-stress. Look for options that have a feather or down filling. There are lots of amazing fabrics and designs. I recently purchased a mohair pillow that is pure tactile joy and comfort.
4. House plant
Every home needs an indoor plant. They help reduce stress, clean the air as well as boost creativity. There are lots of really hardy indoor plant options for those that don't have a green thumb, and many come already planted in a gorgeous pot. Check our your local nursery.
5. Journal
Journaling is a great way to get your thoughts organised, to set and achieve goals, and relieve stress. There is a wide range of beautiful journals available that cater to a range of budgets. I have been admiring options in Kmart, Officeworks and Typo.
